The great people of Calgary supported this ambitious local indy feature, and it just won BEST FEATURE at the Alberta Film/TV awards. We are still getting the distribution and release figured out for January 2013, but since we have the Dolby Digital Cinema Print (35MM replacement digital format) we want to do a local screening for all the supporters of this massive undertaking. It takes a community to get films of this size done, and we couldn't have done it without you!
We want to rent a high end theatre for one eve to do an amazing screening this summer for Calgary!!! Date/time/venue to be determined of course :)

I have so many customers who want to see this film after finding out that The Sentry Box was used for part of the filming. The great thing is that after seeing at the film festival, I can honestly say that I really enjoyed it. Great job guys.

Man, I love sharing this movie with ppl over and over again. Touring it around the USA and Canada right now is such a thrill and getting to share it in Calgary on the big screen would be so rewarding. Much love all.

Mike Peterson and I spent 6 years getting this massive project funded and maed with the best indy film community in Canada; Calgary. We couldn't have done it liek this anywhere else and for those supporters that missed it at the Calgary International Film Fest premiere in the fall, we want to give Calgary another chance to see it before we go into distribution.

What a phenomenal event we had! 350 ppl turned out for a celebration of local success Story LLOYD THE CONQUEROR. Help at Eau Claire Cineplex Odeon in Big Theatre 5, we opened the show with live music from Soundtrack band Outlaws of Ravenhurst. That rocked! Mike Peterson (Director/Co-Writer) was on hand with me to intro and do post show Q&A. What a great screening from our Dolby Certified DCP Print in such a great theatre. After the event we moved the group to the Barley Mill across the street for post film mingling and celebration. We are so thrilled to be recipients of the Gig YYC 2012 grant and that we can work and live in such an amazingly supportive and collaborative artistic city.
