As a local credit union, we’re always excited to contribute to projects that promote civic engagement in our communities.
We love to support people who want to make our city a better place to live. We want to fuel the fire of local arts and cultural celebrations. We especially want to give a hand up to those willing to put in the extra effort to make it happen.
Through our partnership with Calgary 2012, we are able to support those creative, resident-led, grassroots projects we love to see. Whether it is to celebrate a neighbourhood, expose our local talent, or feature some exotic foods, First Calgary Financial is on board.
We also want to put some more skin in the game. We want to be part of the fun. So, in addition to our support of GiG as a whole, we are going to be picking a few of our favourite projects, and adding more funds to help make them happen. In fact, our employees are going to pick their favourite project each month, and their top pick will receive an extra $612 on top of their $1,200 grant.
